You want those Ideators to come to you ðĪ
Overview ð
A Challenge is a record type that holds Ideas. Pose an interesting Challenge topic to draw users in and help spark ideas. This quick article will give you some steps to make sure your Challenge is in tip-top shape.
Steps ð
1. Choose a descriptive title.
This might be most important! You want to stand out on the Home and Discover pages! Which ones stands out the most to you?
Tip: Remember you can always update the title on the record page. Emojis are an easy way to stand out and add some personality.
2. Take Advantage of the Fields You're Provided
For example, your rich text field could look pretty basic if you don't spiff it up with some color and formatting.

3. Put Yourself in the Ideator's Shoes
What sort of experience do they have that you want to harness? Make it as easy as possible for them to get started by adding a few prompts, provocative questions, or a sample idea.
4. Add Extra User Roles
Readers or Ideators don't need special licenses, so add anyone you want. But remember, Owners and Process Managers are defined by the template, so you might not be able to add just anyone. Check with your admin if you think the list you see isn't complete.
5. Make sure your Challenge is Visible
Your record needs to be in a stage where you can accept Ideas, otherwise you'll be waiting a long time... ðŠĶ
To check on the visibility go to Settings > Stage Review > and check the current stage.
6. Add Start and/or End Dates
If people need to submit Ideas before a certain due date, make sure to add an End Date to the Challenge. If left blank the Challenge is left open indefinitely.
