Introduction

Actions are shared and unique for each Record Type.  In this article we will cover all actions for Business Case.  All actions can be found within the Action Menu Icon Action Menu within the record header and card. 

Associated Records

Associated records allow you to create Projects from a Business Case.

When selected a flyout will appear from the right.  Here you can view all associated records in the table. 

Each associated Project will have the following information displayed:

  • Name
  • Type
  • Stage
    • This will display the current stage of the associated project.
  • Associated in Stage
    • This is a snapshot of the Business Case stage when the record was associated.
  • Associated Date
    • The date the associated Project was created.
  • Associated By
    • The user who created the associated Project.

Creating an Association

  1. Open Associated Records
  2. Click + Create in the top right hand corner of the associated records flyout.
  3. Input a Title for your Project. 
  4. Click Next.
  5. (Optional) Input a Description for your Project.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Select a template from the template carousel. You can navigate and search this carousel using the buttons in the top right corner.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Assign yourself and any other Owners to the associated Project. You can find out more about Owners and the role here.
  10. (Optional) Provided the same fields or tables are used in the Business Case and the Project Template selected you can copy data over to the newly created Project.
  11. Click Create.

Stage Review

Stage Review is how a record can move from one stage to another with different interactions depending on your role.
