Additional Configuration
There are some optional extras when it comes to creating calendars. We'll run through them here so you can customise them to your liking!
Use as Default
One calendar can be set as the system default. This will be automatically assigned to all newly created resources and assigned when a calendar in-use is deleted.
Working Days
Here you can set which days of the week are Working Days.
Hours per Week
This is a numerical value to set the total number of working hours in a week.
This number will be divided across the number of working days.
For example,
Working Days = Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. (Count of 5 days)
Hours per Week = 40
There will be a distribution of 8 hours per day. (40 hours per week / 5 days)
Editing a Field
After you've created calendars, you can edit them to change their name, or any other configuration options.
Changes to calendar details can be made at any time. The changes will affect your records and saved changes take effect immediately.
The internal name cannot be updated once created. This value will have no impact for your users. It is used only for techies who use APIs.
