Reporting Discovery

A first taste of Power BI! The purpose, requirements, people, planning, and outcomes of the Reporting Discovery Workshop.

Purpose

Our aim is to understand how you will leverage data from edison365 to provide reporting insights; we need to discover what you want to track and monitor. This will allow us to get to work on building your reports, we will modify our existing Power BI templates to your specific requirements.

Requirements

For this session it is essential that you decide on reporting requirements with your team. If available, bring along any existing reports or templates. If you have no existing reporting material, don't worry! We will be happy to share our best practices and recommendations.

To progress with developing your reports, the edison365 team must have access to your SharePoint and Azure database. Equally, in order for you to use the reports, you must have the correct Microsoft Power BI licenses. Find out more about licenses here.

Planning

• Each module has its own 1 hour long, dedicated session.
• Installation and access are required.
• Configuration is needed. 

Outcomes

Your consultant will leave this session with actionable instructions from your team, allowing them to begin reporting development. You will have insights into the capabilities of your future report 📊
