  • Fields- the individual data entry points that are the building blocks to all functionality

Note:

Each admin tile has lists that work much the same as the Fields menu shown above. Use the headers to quickly sort your data, or the search bar for something specific. From there, select a row to edit or delete. You can also review any previously Deleted items to either permanently delete or restore them.

    • There are many different field types to choose from. Once you hit Create, check out the list of options and get configuring:
  • Tables- super cool ways to structure data and have a standard way for users to enter key information
    • Define amazing tables like, our pride and joy, the Schedule table. Decide which columns you need and even define multiple views for different use cases or audiences.
    • Or pare it wayyyy back and go with something simple and elegant like the List table:
  • Forms- the structure you provide Fields and Tables to enable clear and concise data entry for your end users.
    • You'll define how many tabs there will be an how many fields and/or tables reside within each. See a nice simple for below as an example:

  • Cards- the space where you can customize cards in the user interface. Add the fields that are super important and save users time by not having to click into the Record to find the information they need

  • Workflows- the processes and governance that pulls everything together and gets edison365 behaving
    • Map your processes into the application by creating stages
    • You can even prepopulate data or automatically save a version at stage changes
  • Templates- the final piece of the customization puzzle, Templates allow you to create specific ways of managing Records in terms of processes and access rights
    • Create lists of possible Owners, Readers, and Process Managers who will have access to the record, as well as the associated Workflow.

    • And finally pick a template picture to be able to read template types at a glance on the Home, Discover, and Personal pages

  • News- the place to go to create any News articles
    • Choose an eye-catching Heading and Picture to ensure you get views on your News!
  • Recycle Bin
    • All deleted records from your instance are stored here.
      • A 'Restore' action for deleted records to make them active.
      • A 'Permanent Delete' function to completely remove records from the Recycle Bin.  Records deleted from the Recycle Bin are unrecoverable.
  • Calendars- come here to create bespoke Calendars for your Resources and Schedule tables. Have teams that work part time or have different availabilities to the norm?
    • Not everyone's schedule is the same, just ask us about our 4 day work week at edison365 πŸ˜‰ You can define different calendars to your heart's content to be used in Schedule tables and for Resources.
  • Manage Users- come here to manage Global User permissions
    • Define Tenant Admins, Admins, Executives, Resource Managers that have extra privileges
    • You can also give edison365 temporary access to your instance for configuration or troubleshooting by clicking this toggle
  • Licenses- come here to assign and manage licenses for your users
    • Your first stop when adding new users! Everyone needs a license even if it's just a Read-Only (free) license.
    • You can also see your subscription details like license numbers and the expiration date, or where to purchase more licenses.
  • Personal Data - Review and/ or remove any personal data from the app
    • Someone leave your organization and you'd like their personal data to go with them? You can delete their email and ObjectID from them app.

Note:

We ensure the protection of users' personal data within the edison365 database. In the event of user deletion, they will be identified as 'Deleted User' when accessed through edison365 APIs. It's important to note that this action does not affect records created by users. User data can be restored using the Azure Active Directory Object ID in the 'Deleted' tab if the user still exists in the Azure Active Directory.
